There are several ways to get to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre: 

Map to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on Google Map, click here.

By Road
If you are in a taxi or a chauffeured car, approach the Centre along Jalan Pinang and turn left into the Main Entrance (second turn after the Mandarin Oriental Hotel) for drop off.
If you are driving, here are your parking options:

  1. Take the first left after the Mandarin Oriental Hotel from Jalan Pinang up the ramp to access the car park at the Centre’s basement.
  2. Park at the KLCC Suria car park and exit to the Concourse Level Centre Court. Make your way past Cold Storage to the Guardian Pharmacy where there is a covered walkway through to the Centre. Take the elevator to the Ground Level where you will be directed to the Registration area.

By Train
Take the Light Rail Transit (LRT), Kelana Jaya Line and disembark at the KLCC Station. Turn left after exiting the turnstiles and walk through the Suria KLCC shopping centre Concourse level to the Centre Court. Turn left and make your way past Cold Storage to the Guardian Pharmacy where there is a covered walkway through to the Centre. Take the elevator to the Ground Floor where you will be directed to the Registration area.

On Foot
From the Suria KLCC shopping centre’s Ground Level centre court, take the Park Exit into the KLCC Park and turn right. Follow the Esplanade towards the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and then take the path around the edge of the park towards the centre of the building and enter via the Park Entrance.

Themed Public Transport: Transforming the Nation, this year’s Symposium sets the stage for exciting discussions on the role of LPT in catalysing socio-economic growth and driving mobility to improve quality of life for citizens. Distinguished thought leaders, policy-makers, implementers and experts in public transport and urban development will converge to explore, deliberate and discuss compelling issues and cutting-edge developments driving the industry forward.

As the main champion behind our country’s land public transport transformation and improvement, the Prime Minister of Malaysia Yang Amat Berhormat Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Haji Abdul Razak will officiate and deliver a keynote address at this year’s LPT Symposium.

The Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD)’s LPT Symposium 2016, in its fifth installation since inception, is themed ‘Public Transport: Transforming the Nation’.

The Symposium will honour the best and brightest players in the public transport industry in Malaysia via the Gala Dinner and Industry Awards which will take place on the 16th October. The Awards will be presented to operators who have showcased efficiency and excellence in their daily operations by adopting an innovative approach in solving challenges to raise service standards within the LPT industry.

Land Public Transport (LPT) Symposium 2016

The Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD)’s LPT Symposium 2016, in its fifth installation since inception, is themed ‘Public Transport: Transforming the Nation’. Bringing more meaning and adding greater depth to this event, the Prime Minister of Malaysia YAB, Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak will deliver the keynote address, and unveil SPAD’s 5 Year LPT Transformation Journey Report at the Symposium.

The LPT Symposium held on the 17 October will bring together authorities, policy-makers, urban planners, transport operators and solution providers from Malaysia and across the region. The event will feature discourses and deliberations on subjects crucial to shaping the future of mobility and connectivity.

Land Public Transport (LPT) Transformation Journey Exhibition

This year’s event features an interactive exhibition of the Malaysian LPT  transformation journey which is open to public on 17th October. The one-day exhibition will showcase the past, present and future connectivity being driven across Malaysia along with a career fair to present job opportunities available within the dynamic LPT industry. Visitors can also look forward to grabbing more than RM100,000 worth of rail and bus passes, as well Touch 'n Go and other lucky prizes.
