GoKL is a free bus service that was introduced to offer a viable and economic alternative for commuters to travel within the Kuala Lumpur Central Business District (CBD) area. The bus service is designed to function as a feeder bus, providing last mile connectivity by integrating with other modes of public transport. Initially comprising two lines, the Green and Purple which serve the KLCC - Bukit Bintang and Pasar Seni - Bukit Bintang routes, the service was further expanded in 2014 with two new lines, the Blue and Red to serve the Medan Mara - Bukit Bintang and KL Sentral - Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman routes.

The GoKL buses have several features which are geared towards providing passengers with comfort on their journey. The new buses introduced in 2015 come with key features such as a 65 passenger capacity, free WIFI service, audio announcements of every stop made, and a fleet-tracking system (GPS), which enables SPAD to track bus movements and ensure greater efficiency for the service. The buses also come with disabled-friendly features such as ramps and wheelchair bays.
